My name is Clair Ulman

I'm Clair Ulman, a creative based in Bay City, Michigan. I graduated from Michigan State last spring with a degree in Advertising Creative and a minor in Graphic Design.

I work at the intersection of brand strategy and visual storytelling — which in practice means I think about who a brand is talking to before I think about how it looks. I'm drawn to projects that have a real point of view, whether that's a campaign, a social presence, or a brand identity built from scratch.

Outside of client work I'm usually drawing, painting, or finding something to make. I travel when I can and bring a sketchbook when I do.
